It’s a new year, a new decade – and the same MK11. The post-release support for the title was promised to continue well beyond the past iterations lifespans, and so we step foot into January with a very bloody trailer for the clown prince of crime – The Joker:
The amazing comic content doesn’t just stop with the Joker however, Other DC skins appearing in the trailer include Noob Saibot as the Batman Who Laughs, Baraka as Killer Croc, and Kitana as Catwoman!
…Oh, and Geras gets an Apokolips skin.
It’s amazing to see what a truly R-rated Joker is capable of – his appearance in the Injustice series was always muted and carefully curated to appear vicious and bloody, but in reality was quite tame. Beating people up with a crowbar isn’t really make-believe, but now he is in the realm of Mortal Kombat he can really push what being a psychopath entails – like how you can smash someone’s testicles with extending boxing gloves.
Apparently this is the content I never knew I wanted.
