Sony has announced that the PlayStation Portal will be released in Australia on February 2, 2024, costing $329.95.
While most of the world is getting ready for PlayStation’s slick-looking remote-play device to drop in a matter of days, we here at the bottom of the planet have been left in the cold, despite the days getting longer and hotter.
Thankfully, we won’t be waiting too much longer before we can go hands-on with the extra-long DualSense, as it’s making its way to our shores just in time for the early influx of new releases in 2024. Setting you back $329.95, the unit itself is up for pre-order this very moment from EB Games and JB Hi-Fi.

For those who haven’t been keeping up with the new PlayStation tech, the Portal is essentially a dedicated remote-play device that will allow you to play your PS5 from anywhere else in the house (that can access your wifi) on an eight-inch 1080p screen, with all of the feature of a DualSense controller. Yes, you can do that on your phone as well, but this promises to be the way to experience remote-play…for $329.95.
