Developer Daedalic Entertainment has announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been delayed and will no longer release on September 1.
Making the announcement on Twitter, the statement first thanks fans for being patient, before revealing that the upcoming stealth-action game has been delayed “by a few months.” No exact date had been given, though the statement does go on to say that an update on the exact timing will be coming “in the near future.”
Though no specifics were given, the delay has been made to meet the “community’s expectations” and honour the “vision of J.R.R Tolkien.”
