Don’t worry demons, you are safe for now – for the Diablo IV Open Beta has now ended.
Impressions have been positive as a player population that easily rivals that of a small nation descended into the world of Sanctuary. Now players will have to wait for that June release date to experience any more of the gothic action RPG:

Praise was absolutely leveraged against the aesthetic of the game, with many highlighting the impressive mood and setting of Diablo IV. While the beta only touched on a small corner of what the full game will offer, it still presented a rich variety of locales and baddies to stomp.
Perhaps my favourite post-beta activity that is now taking place is the fashion show of people strutting out their beta characters for inspection:
As the Diablo IV beta comes to a close, let's see those final screenshots of your beta character! Here's my Rouge and Jen's Barbarian right before our final Beta log-off. We'll see them again, born anew in June! #Diablo4 pic.twitter.com/cjA7A6hUbQ

The beta was full of neat discoveries, and the range of cool player outfits that came from gear – alongside the super generous transmog system – was a welcome one.
I grew quite attached to all of my characters, although I have to say my Necromancer definitely took home the award for “best outfit to wear to a job interview”:
The helmet keeps my face pretty
While the wait isn’t super long, you can take comfort in the fact that technically we are only 66.6 days from early access launch according to Rod Fergusson, the general manager of all things Diablo at Blizzard.
