A fresh new Post-Launch trailer has been dropped for Space Marine 2, and with it comes some insight into what awaits players for the rest of 2024.
And in short, it’s big. And legged. And scary.
Meet the Tyranid Hierophant Bio-titan.
As per the development roadmap, players are due for some goodies before the end of the year, including:
- New PvE Missions
- Lethal Difficulty
- New weapon: The Neo-Volkite Pistol
- New enemy: Revealed as the Bio-titan
And all of these are showcased in the trailer. The new PvE mission shown gives us a look at the jungle world Kadaku in the later stages of the Tyranid advance – all murky and gross due to what the bugs are doing to the planet. But far scarier is seeing the hulking form of a Hierophant walking around – dwarfing even the enormous Space Marines.
They even show off the first cosmetic pack coming to the higher tier version of the game, with a bunch of Dark Angels themed aesthetics for players who enjoy that particularly flavour of Chapter.
It’s a pretty exciting slew of goodness awaiting players, especially considering that all the gameplay relevant content will be entirely free.
