SEGA aired its Sonic Central broadcast in the wee (Aussie) hours of this morning, celebrating 30 years of Sonic the Hedgehog and showcasing

- A full symphony orchestra performance is happening on June 23rd for free, virtually!.
- Sonic will feature in the Tokyo 2020 Official Video Game, coming June 22.
- Sonic items and customisation options are coming to Two Point Hospital for free on July 30.
- Sonic the Fighters will be playable in the SEGA arcades in Lost Judgment when it launches on September 24th.
- Sonic Colors Ultimate is coming September 7th for PS4, Xbox consoles, Switch and PC.
- Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps is a new two-part animation coming soon, with the full Sonic voice cast along for the ride!
- Sonic Origins is a new Sonic compilation including Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic CD. Coming to ‘the latest platforms’ at a later date.
- Sonic Mania and Team Sonic Racing are now available on Amazon Luna, with those two titles plus Sonic Forces coming to PlayStation Now on June 1st.
- New pirate-themed content is coming to Sonic Dash on mobile very soon.
- Super Sonic is coming to Sonic Forces on mobile, along with a limited-time party mode later this year.
- Werewolf Sonic is coming to both mobile games around Halloween this year.
- Sonic Racing for Apple Arcade is getting new classic content soon.
- Sonic Prime is coming to Netflix worldwide in 2022, from the creative team behind Ben 10 and Big Hero 6. Will be 24 episodes long.
- A bunch of 30th Anniversary Sonic merch is coming, including a goegeous-looking Encyclo-speedia from Dark Horse.
- And most importantly, a brand-new Sonic game has been announced for 2022, coming to all current and last-gen platforms. No title or any further information has been revealed.
