Sony has revealed the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, a range of limited-edition consoles, controllers, and other accessories that will be released on November 21.
Celebrating the launch of the original PlayStation back in 1994, the Anniversary Collection takes on the iconic grey of the PS1, complete with a splash of red, green, blue and yellow on the PlayStation logo. Two separate console bundles will be available, as well as three standalone products. Pre-orders for the collection are set to go live on September 26, although we don’t currently have any details on Australian pricing or availability.
The products in the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection include:
- PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition BundIe
- Includes the limited edition PS5 Pro console with 2TB SSD, Wi-Fi 7 in territories supporting this standard, and matching limited edition accessories – DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, DualSense Charging Station, and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive (Disc Drive sold separately).
- It also includes a Vertical Stand and special collector’s Items:
- Original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing
- Four PlayStation Shapes cable ties
- PlayStation sticker
- Limited Edition PlayStation Poster (1 of 30 possible designs)
- PlayStation Paperclip
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
- Includes the limited edition PS5 Digital Edition console with 1TD SSD and matching limited edition accessories – DualSense wireless controller and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive (Disc Drive sold separately).
- It also includes a Vertical Stand and special collector’s Items:
- Original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing
- Four PlayStation Shapes cable ties
- PlayStation sticker

The bundle that includes the recently announced PS5 Pro will be limited to 12,300 units, which resembles the month and date of the original PlayStation’s launch (and drives up demand). I was hoping beyond a doubt that the collection would include console face plates that I could buy and swap out on my current console, but, unfortunately, my wallet will take a beating instead.
