Peacemaker Rocks Out In His Mortal Kombat 1 Gameplay Trailer

Voice activated helmet powers are the new hotness

As promised, the gameplay trailer for Peacemaker has arrived to showcase exactly how he will bring peace to Mortal Kombat 1.

Rocking out on air guitar and pumping a crotch shotgun were not on my bucket list – but Eagley the eagle sure was, and you best believe he is present and accounted for. There’s also a magnificent variety of goofy helmet powers to relish, so take a look:

It’s brilliant to see them reference the opening dance number of the TV show, which I can only assume is a victory animation. Cena is also putting every bit of effort into the voice over work, with some great Peacemaker quips during his face-off screen – as well as announcing his helmet powers like he is starring in an oldschool anime.

He is also joined by the newest Kameo fighter to grace our screens, the other-universe Johnny Cage that is of the female persuasion: Janet Cage. I have to say, piercing an autograph to the face as part of her x-ray attack is downright mean.

Peacemaker comes to MK1 early access February 28, full release March 6 – so mark your calendar for PEACE.
