The road to international competition begins from tonight with Qualifier tournaments for the Paladins Masters Oceania series. This is the first week of 2017 competition for fantasy shooter Paladins, Champions of the Realm. It will see players in the rapidly growing community battle for a spot among international teams at the $75,000 USD Paladins Masters LAN event, to be held April 6th-9th at Hi-Rez Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
Paladins Oceania Masters Qualifiers are broadcast throughout, live on Twitch every Monday from 7pm AEST on the official global channel www.twitch.tv/PaladinsGame
The Oceania (Australia and New Zealand) competition is open to all comers. Teams of all levels are invited to join, and can register now for each of the first three weeks of open bracket events, including tonight’s first qualifier. Every Monday, the winning team of the open tournament will qualify into the Top 4 Group Stage, which has a local league prize pool of $8,000 AUD.
Joining these three Qualifier teams will be the 2016 Champions, Abyss Esports, and Group Stage will play for a further three weeks to find our region’s top team who will travel to the US and compete in a full LAN tournament series with the world’s best.
