If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you’re likely busy kicking the crap out of Superman as Aquaman or bombing around plastic tracks in a die-cast car because the Essential line-up for October is an absolute cracker. Don’t get too comfortable, though; plenty of games are yet to arrive on the service during the spooky season. As announced on the PlayStation Blog, an update to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue for Extra and Deluxe members is around the corner, adding 21 new titles to the Extra and Deluxe tiers on October 18.
Here are all of the games being added to the PlayStation Plus Catalogue in October 2022:
PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition
- Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition
- Dragon Quest Builders
- Dragon Quest Builders 2
- Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below
- Dragon Quest Heroes II: Explorer’s Edition
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Assassin’s Creed III Remastered
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia
- Inside
- The Medium (PS5)
- Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker
- Hohokum
- Yakuza 3 Remastered
- Yakuza 4 Remastered
- Yakuza 5 Remastered
- Ultra Street Fighter IV
- Limbo
With us Aussies missing out on the PS3 catalogue, we won’t have access to this month’s additions of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Everyday Shooter, but the huge list of 21 titles should more than compensate. The Assassin’s Creed takeover continues, and so too does the tidal wave that is the Yakuza series, so fans of those two franchises will be stoked.
What do you think of this update to the catalogue? What games would you like to see added next? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
