November PlayStation Plus Titles Includes Bugsnax For PS5

Free snax!

Absolutely ‘yuge PlayStation Plus news today, with the reveal of November’s included games dropping the tasty little nugget that Bugsnax, the long awaited new game from Octodad developer Young Horses will be among the ranks on PlayStation 5.

Thanks to PlayStation Blog, we now know that November’s PlayStation Plus titles are the following:

  • Middle-earth: Shadow of War (PS4/PS5)
  • Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition (PS4/PS5)
  • Bugsnax (PS5 only)

Similarly to Destruction AllStars next year, Bugsnax’ residence on the PS5 roster for Plus will go for two months, so that definitely seems like the norm for next-gen titles for the time being. It’s a huge get for the service though and a massive win for the indie developer to be the first off the rank on the new console.

It’s also important to note that while purchasing Bugsnax on PlayStation 4 will get you the PlayStation 5 version for free and vice versa, there is no such offer for those grabbing the game through Plus on PS5.

Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition is a nice addition as well. Not so sure about the other one…

In the same blog post, PlayStation also reiterated the full list of PlayStation Plus Collection titles coming to PS5 when the console launches on November 12. If you need a refresher; PlayStation Plus Collection is the new offering for PS5 owners who subscribe to PS Plus, and is a hefty suite of bonus games from last generation. The titles are as follows:
