New The Day Before Footage Will Be Shown Next Week At NVIDIA’s GeForce Beyond CES Showcase

Finally an update

Those who have been hoping for news on The Day Before, the open-world MMO survival game from Fntastic and MyTona, will soon have something to feast on, with the game being shown off at NVIDIA’s GeForce Beyond event at CES on January 3, 8am PT/January 4, 3am AEDT.

Fntastic has been teasing an update since early December, with the studio revealing that The Day Before would be at a major international event in January, which we now know is CES (Consumer Electronics Show) after the studio’s social accounts shared an NVIDIA post featuring the game. The Day Before is scheduled to launch on PC on March 1, 2023, so we should start to see the marketing machine crank into action.

It’s been a long time since we’ve had any decent updates on The Day Before, with the last update being the developer’s decision to shift the game’s development from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5 back in May. Since then, the studio has come under fire for its take on volunteering, shared an image of the game in UE5 (this article’s image), and another screenshot recently of what appears to be a vendor (see below). There are still many questions that need answering surrounding The Day Before, with many people still believing that the project sounds and looks too good to be true. Hopefully we get a better idea after NVIDIA GeForce Beyond next week.
