Need For Speed PC Release Date, Manual Transmission And 4K Support

Today it was revealed that the PC version of Ghost Games’ Need For Speed would be expected to release on March 17th. Alongside this reveal, it was also mentioned that the game would run with an unlocked framerate and at 4K resolution, the team were quite excited to mention.

According to Ghost Games, the extra development time has allowed the team to create the definitive NFS experience. On the top of the discussions of which the development team were receiving as feedback from the community was Manual Transmission. With all of of this aforementioned information it was also revealed that alongside the PC release, steering wheel support would also be included for a selection of wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec. Another thing worth mentioning is all previous patches and fixes would be automatically included in the PC release with the Showcase set to follow closely.

Those who are Origin Access members may play Need For Speed on the PC as early as March 10th. For those who are concerned, yes Manual Transmission will also make its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
