More Titles Are Being Added To Xbox Game Pass In September 2023

Four day one releases

The biggest feather in the Game Pass cap is when games release day and date on the service. If this happens once every few months it’s considered a win, but multiple in one update? That’s absurd.

Well, that’s exactly what we’re looking at with this mid-month update, so clear out your SSD and prepare for a good time. As revealed on Xbox Wire, a further five games are being added to Xbox Game Pass between now and October 3.

Here are all of the games being added to Xbox Game Pass in the back half of September 2023:

September 20

  • Party Animals (Console, Cloud)

September 21

  • Payday 3 (Console, PC, Cloud)

September 29

  • Cocoon (Console, PC)

October 3

  • Gotham Knights (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • The Lamplighter’s League (Console, PC, Cloud)

With all of these new releases rolling in, the scales need to be balanced. Here are all of the games leaving Xbox Game Pass in September:

September 30

  • Beacon Pines (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Despot’s Game (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Last Call BBS (PC)
  • Moonscars (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Outriders (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Prodeus (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Weird West (Console, PC, Cloud)

Cocoon is my pick for September, without a doubt. This little puzzle game has captured and held my attention since I first got eyes on it. Playing as a little, dimension-hopping beetle trying to solve puzzles and uncover a mystery just sounds like such a treat.

Which of these titles will you be playing? What would you like to see added next month? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
