More Titles Are Being Added To Xbox Game Pass In April 2025

Nothing Obscur about this update

I’ll tell you what, there’s no downtime in the gaming release calendar these days. Just when I think I can dive into my backlog, another potential banger springs up out of nowhere to steal away my time. I’d be able to temporarily ignore these big releases by telling myself to save money, but then the subscription services go and include these games in their offerings, completely destroying that barrier to entry. As announced on Xbox Wire, 11 games are being added to Xbox Game Pass between now and May 6.

Here are all of the games being added to Xbox Game Pass in the back half of April 2025:

Available Now

  • Grand Theft Auto V (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Neon White (Console)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game (Console, PC, Cloud)

April 18

  • Crime Scene Cleaner (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Tempopo (Console, PC, Cloud)

April 24

  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Console, PC, Cloud)

April 29

  • Towerborne | Game Preview (Console, PC, Cloud)

April 30

  • Far Cry 4 (Console, PC, Cloud)

May 1

  • Anno 1800 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (Console, PC, Cloud)

May 6

  • Dredge (Console, PC, Cloud)

Things might be easier with fewer options. Here are all of the games leaving Xbox Game Pass in the back half of April:

  • Have a Nice Death (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Kona II Brume (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Sniper Elite 5 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • The Last Case of Benedict Fox (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Thirsty Suitors (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • The Rewinder (Console, PC, Cloud)

The highlight here falls into the same-day release category that I was talking about. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is Sandfall Interactive’s debut title, and it’s looking like a potential banger. A turn-based RPG with a huge cast of excellent voice actors, a fascinating premise, and some drop-dead visuals, Expedition 33 is one to watch and play.

Which of these titles will you be playing? What would you like to see added next month? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
