If you know me, you know I love a good indie feelings simulator, so naturally Sea of Solitude is one of my most anticipated games of this year. Announced last year at E3 during EA’s press conference, it’s the next game in line to fly the EA Originals banner, a program that has so far delivered some exceptional titles such as Fe and A Way Out. Fans have been patiently awaiting a release date for Sea of Solitude ever since, and it looks like we finally have one:
Hi everybody! I was excited all day because we can finally announce the RELEASE DATE of Sea of Solitude!! It will be out on 5TH OF JULY 2019! Just a few more weeks!!! Please support us by preordering it now, right here! https://t.co/ksqNHISgZI #SeaofSolitude

So there you have it; Sea of Solitude releases in a little over a month on July 5th, 2019, and is up for digital preorder now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Also, I can’t help but love Cornelia Geppert’s passion and enthusiasm for what she does.
Described as an action adventure, Sea of Solitude tells the story of Kay and her journey through a world that transforms and reflects her own emotional state, where she’ll have to face her metaphorical and literal monsters. That’s all I know so far though, because I’m intentionally keeping pretty dark on this one until it’s in my hands. Here’s the E3 trailer, though:
Kieron's been gaming ever since he could first speak the words "Blast Processing" and hasn't lost his love for platformers and JRPGs since. A connoisseur of avant-garde indie experiences and underground cult classics, Kieron is a devout worshipper at the churches of Double Fine and Annapurna Interactive, to drop just a couple of names.
