With the game’s September 10 release looming on the horizon, Deck Nine and Square Enix have finally shown off a hefty chunk of gameplay of Life is Strange: True Colours. The gameplay trailer, which you can view below, sees lead character Alex Chen enter a record store in her new home of Haven Springs, where she meets two of the game’s key characters (and potential love interests) in Steph and Ryan.
It’s a familiar setup to what fans know from previous Life is Strange entries, with Alex engaging in a few dialogue choices in conversation with Ryan and exploring the store to find important objects and piece together the new situation she finds herself in. We also get a tiny glimpse at Alex’s empathy-based powers as she catches Steph in a heated phone call toward the end of the trailer.
