It Takes Two Has Justifiably Sold Over 7 Million Copies

It won game of the year for a reason folks

Hazelight Studios, the development studio behind It Takes Two took to twitter to announce that the title has sold over 7 million copies worldwide.

As a card-carrying member of the ‘target audience’ for the thrilling tale of family and finding happiness where it counts, this is an accolade that is absolutely deserved.

At the game awards of 2021, it tidily took home Game of the Year – and even has a film adaptation in the pipeline!

Our very own Kieron even described the experience as so good he almost wishes he didn’t have to share it in his own glowing review. Personally I have just completed my second purchase of the title on another platform so I can more easily take the game on the road to show mates who live elsewhere – so I will absolutely attribute part of that 7 million number to yours truly.

You’re welcome, Hazelight Studios.

Have you had a chance to experience It Takes Two? If not, WHY NOT? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
