We’ve entered a brand new year, which generally means we look forward, not back. In saying that, there are some time-honoured traditions that we shouldn’t ignore, like a good old subscription service refresh. We’ve already seen what PlayStation Plus has in store to welcome in the new year, now it’s time to take a peek at what Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be treated to. As announced on Xbox Wire, eight games are being added to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of November.
Here are all of the games being added to Xbox Game Pass in January 2024:
Available Now
- Close to the Sun (Conbosle, PC, Cloud)
January 4
- Hell Let Loose (Console, PC, Cloud)
January 9
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Figment (Console, PC, Cloud)
January 11
- Super Mega Baseball 4 (Console, PC, Cloud)
- We Happy Few (Console, PC, Cloud)
January 16
- Resident Evil 2 (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Those Who Remain (Console, PC, Cloud)
If you enjoy the large-scale battles from first-person shooters like Battlefield, you owe it to yourself to give Hell Let Loose a go. An online multiplayer WWII shooter with up to 100 players in a match, Hell Let Loose is as hectic as the aforementioned juggernaut, but with an RTS twist. Elsewhere, I would suggest getting around Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, if you’re not burnt out from Ubisoft’s barrage of open-world games (we gave it a 9).
Which of these titles will you be playing? What would you like to see added later in the month? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
