Helldivers 2 New Warbond Brings Gunslinging Justice To The Galaxy

The only thing cooler than the Wild West, is the Wild West in SPACE.

This is something that Helldivers 2 clearly understands, given that the newest Warbond seeks to bring Borderline Justice to every Cowpoke fighting for managed democracy.

With new toys ranging from a BIG IRON Laser revolver to a futuristic bundle of dynamite, you’d be forgiven for asking where the cowboy hats are:

Your weapons of wanton western liberation include:

• R-6 Deadeye lever-action hunting rifle
  Packing plenty of punch, you’ll feel like hunting season only ends when you want it to.
• LAS-58 Talon “revolver”
  A lawman is nothing without his trusty sidearm, an this battery powered bad boy is hot enough to punch holes in wannabe law-breakers. Give it a twirl, see how it feels.
• TED-63 Dynamite
  Set the fuse to a time that suits you, and huck this bundle of joy at whatever you wish would stop bothering you. The classics never go out of style.

Beyond things that go BANG or BOOM, there are also new toys to enjoy – such as the LIFT-860 Hover Pack, a jetpack that trades off traversal to instead give you a new vantage point. Rocket straight up in the air, and hover for a spell – allowing you plenty of time to leverage your new highground advantage by drilling slugs into the top of enemies heads. Also great for peeking over a wall and throwing a walking barrage into the eye of hell itself.

This also comes with some new armours that offer your secondary increased reload speed, increased draw/holster speed, and reduced recoil – so the feeling of being a gunslinger isn’t just in your head.

All this comes to a head on March 21, so finish binge watching The Mandalorian and perhaps consider stepping into a hellpod to continue your fantasy then.
