GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition Includes A Uniquely Cursed CJ Camera Angle

CJ is done following trains, now he is following YOU

While I personally am still grooving to the tunes of GTA: Vice City Definitive Edition, I am happy to see that the best GTA content is still yet to come.

Originally shared on Reddit, user u/TheVideoGaymer has unleashed this particular horror show on us all, revealing what happens if you use the ‘Rear View’ camera while riding a quadbike:

If you play GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition on PlayStation 5 while using first person while on a quadbike you get cursed results.

The calm look on the face of CJ as he barrels down a street, causing all manner of mayhem, is both calming and chilling. Admittedly, it was the worst thing to view prior to my going to sleep last night, if only because the belly laughs I couldn’t contain actually woke up my wife. It is a dead ringer of one of my favourite british comedy skits, the running scenes from The Surprising Adventures of Sir Digby Chicken Caesar.

While many see the mirth in it, a few have added it to their list of grievances with the GTA remasters. Personally I am still in the midst of reviewing the titles, and so far the jank is yet to outweigh the nostalgia.

How do you feel about the unsettling face-cam of CJ? Are you enjoying the GTA Definitive Editions? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
