Jason Voorhees may be an immortal murder machine, but his greatest nemesis remains at large – property licensing.
Many moons ago we had a full development freeze on his most iconic title (Friday the 13th: The Game) due to a fantastic slap-fight lawsuit between some of the old salts that produced the original film, but now a smaller game that many enjoyed has had to pull up stumps because they have been unable to renegotiate their license agreement – Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle:
Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle will be delisted on Jan 23rd https://t.co/EjHNA3D3Pk pic.twitter.com/EfbWTxsDk1

The neat thing is that the game will persist for any who own the title, made all the more easy considering that the developers have made the game free-to-own on Steam in the lead up to it’s eventual delisting. So make sure to head on over to the Steam Page for Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle and grab it (and a hefty chunk of DLC).
As for the game itself? Well, it’s a neat little puzzle game where you have limited moves to get Jason to his quarry – a little like ice-sliding puzzles in old school games:
If you are on the fence, take note that it has a rating of Very Positive on Steam, aggregated from over 5000 reviews. For the low price of nothing, and the considerable issue of it disappearing forever once the 23rd of January is upon us – now is a pretty fantastic time to indulge in some mind-bending, puzzle-based murder.
