Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Officially Announced; More News To Come Later This Year

The dawn of a new (dragon) age

BioWare has officially announced Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, marking a new chapter in the Dragon Age series. While there has not been a whole lot of detail given about the game, BioWare were kind enough to explain who the Dread Wolf is, and how the character’s return was initially teased back in 2018 with #TheDreadWolfRises.

His motives are inscrutable and his methods sometimes questionable, earning him a reputation as something of a trickster deity—a player of dark and dangerous games. – BioWare, via the BioWare Blog

There is currently no release date for Dreadwolf, but the team at BioWare plans to reveal more details later this year. This will be the first game BioWare has released since Anthem, which see a very cold reception, including us, for being riddled with design flaws and bugs. The team seems to have learned their lesson since then, but only time will tell.
