Today is Valentine’s Day, a day where love and consumerism are joined at the hip as couples, romantics and desperados showcase their love for one another or somebody else, boosting the coffers of florists worldwide and the economy in the process.
To celebrate this hallmark occasion, Sony and Sony Bend have released a brand new trailer for their hotly anticipated zombie game Days Gone, which launches exclusively on the PS4 on April 26.
The new trailer highlights some of the more tragic events of the past in an already bleak world. We learn that our protagonist, Deacon St. John, was once a helpless romantic himself, smitten by a girl by the name of Sarah – with the two even tying the knot.
But as we’ve come to know, apocalypses and marriages very rarely end well, and two years later Sarah has gone, leaving Deacon a lonely and jaded drifter.
