The initial Diablo IV Beta period has wrapped up, with all the splendid connection queues and disconnect issues one might expect from a beta. This didn’t stop many intrepid adventures from setting forth into the frozen Fractured Peaks in the hopes of hitting level 20 on their characters, and earning the promised back cosmetic item – a sleepy wolf pup.
Although “many” might not even be the right word, because it has now been confirmed that over a million players actually hit the milestone, and will have their furry friend waiting for them on release day:
It's not too late to rescue a puppy of your own. Reach level 20 during the #DiabloIV Open Beta and earn the Beta Wolf Pack at launch. pic.twitter.com/egVLr9VKNU

And this number will actually grow – as the wolf pup will still be available when Diablo IV enters it’s next beta period. In fact, the figure might explode out of control as the next opportunity to play the game is open to all who wish to live, laugh and Lilith.
And if you are somehow dead inside and have no interest in the snoozy back bling, there are other cosmetic title rewards awaiting your efforts:
- “Early Voyager” Title: Reach Level 20
- “Initial Casualty” Title: Reach Kyovashad
I personally hit level 20 on a Sorceress character and had a total blast within the desperate and dark world of Diablo IV, so I am exceptionally keen to perhaps rope some mates into the open beta weekend and try out the Necromancer class when it goes live between March 25-27.
