For those anxiously waiting to revisit the endless conflict of Diablo IV, your long wait is coming to an end – to try the Beta at least.
Dates for both the Open Beta and Early Access weekends have been discussed as part of IGN Fanfest, so people can clear their schedule and immerse themselves in a little taste of hell:
Those who have pre-purchased Diablo IV will receive Early Access to the Open Beta from March 18-20. On the following weekend, the Open Beta will be available to everyone from March 25-27. During these beta periods, your character can level up to Level 25 and explore the games prologue and the entirety of the first Act – letting you run amok in the frozen landscape of the Fractured Peaks.
Being a beta, the input from the development team is to really get stuck in and observe anything that buckles or breaks – providing feedback where appropriate. The games release is slated for early June, so the feedback from this experience will be key to ensuring the Diablo IV journey is ripe for conquest.
