Dark Souls Remastered Digital Preorders Now Live

Praise the [digital] sun!

Following the mildly upsetting news that the Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls Remastered will be delayed which was announced last week, digital preorders for the remaster have gone live on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store with some nice benefits. PlayStation users will receive an exclusive Dark Souls theme and Xbox users will be able to preload (though it is probably safe to assume that PlayStation users will be able to preload as well). According to the store page on PSN, you will need 8GB free and it supports various resolutions.

Steam users got some nice info as well. People who already own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will receive an exclusive discount of 50% on their purchase of Dark Souls Remastered. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be taken off of Steam on May 9th for purchasing, but people who own the game will still be able to download and play the game.

Dark Souls Remastered will be available from May 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam). The Nintendo Switch version will come later this year in summer. If you would like to preorder the game digitally, visit the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Store.
