Citizen Sleeper’s One Year Anniversary Celebrations Are Awesome

Goodies you shouldn’t sleep on

In a week where all the news has been about Redfall’s fumbles, it’s worth remembering the little guys who are doing amazing things. Case in point, the team behind indie darling Citizen Sleeper have been celebrating its first anniversary with some tasty goodies and some exciting news.

First up, Citizen Sleeper’s creator Gareth Damian Martin (aka. Jump Over the Age) has collaborated with premium art book designers Lost in Cult to create a stunning art book set highlighting tons of content across the main game and its DLC (including plenty of character designs by Guillaume Singelin).

Alongside that, Martin, artist Alfred Valley and Lost in Cult have created a unique tabletop RPG called Cycles of the Eye that’s set within the Citizen Sleeper universe. The RPG, which can be played solo, is currently only available as part of the funding campaign within either the deluxe or anniversary editions of the art book, which itself packs in a host of extra incentives including a 78 card Tarot deck, iron-on patches, bookmarks and and vinyl record comprising the score for the game.

Deluxe in every sense of the word

Meanwhile, Martin has confirmed his next project, reteaming with the crew behind Citizen Sleeper for an unnamed future title to be published by Fellow Traveller. Martin took to twitter to confirm the news, suggesting a proper reveal will happen some time soon.

Lost in Cult’s funding campaign has already passed its minimum goal and will run through to July 2, so get your orders in across the full range of wonderful goods to support the studios involved. Or, if you’re yet to give Citizen Sleeper a try, you can find it discounted on the likes of Nintendo’s eShop and Steam.

Have you played Citizen Sleeper? Will you be dropping a preorder on the snazzy art book set? Let us know in the comments down below or on our socials, while I go sort out my finances because absolutely yes I’m ordering it all!
