Bramble: The Mountain King Release Date Set For April

A little big Nordic adventure

Dimfrost Studios and Merge Games have announced today that its upcoming dark adventure game Bramble: The Mountain King will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC on April 27.

Inspired by Nordic myths, Bramble puts you in the shoes of Olle, a young boy on a journey to rescue his sister from the beasts that have taken her captive. Olle, will have to put on a brave face as he navigates a beautiful and dangerous world that is full of mythical creatures including Näcken, the Skogsra, trolls, and gnomes.

The game’s demo is currently available for download as part of the Steam Next Fest, and having played it a few months ago I loved my brief time with it and I am really excited to check out the full game.

If you’re someone who prefers physical releases, you can nab a physical copy of the game from Signature Edition, with the first 2000 copies coming with an exclusive Skogsrå pin badge.

Bramble: The Mountain King will hit PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC on April 27.
