Battleborn Tops The Chart For The Week Ending May 8

People like their pew pews.

The folks over at IGEA have posted the results for the week ending May 8 and unsurprisingly, Battleborn took the top spot as it launched worldwide on May 3rd. The new IP from Gearbox and 2K hit the number 1 spot in both the Australia and New Zealand charts, with the new Racthet & Clank reboot taking second place in both instances. Couple this with the recent and successful launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and you’ve got very good news for Sony and PlayStation. Here are the top 10 for the week ending May 8:

Australia:

  1. Battleborn – 2K Games
  2. Ratchet & Clank 2016 – Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
  3. Grand Theft Auto V – Rockstar Games
  4. Dark Souls III – Bandai Namco Games
