Focus Entertainment and DON’T NOD have announced the release date for Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, which will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 7.
Announced at The Game Awards in 2022, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden follows the story of Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, both lovers and banishers – hunters that vanquish ghosts and spectres. However, when Antea becomes what they hunt, the pair must work together to find a way to bring her back to land of the living. It’s a third-person action-adventure that will see you play as both characters and as it’s a DON’T NOD game expect choices to matter, with the French developer stating that you will be in control of the fate New Eden’s residents.
Focus Entertainment has been hitting it out of the park in recent years and I am a big fan of DON’T NOD (not the stylisation of the name though), so Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is up there on my most anticipated games still to come in 2023.
