Banishers: Ghost Of New Eden Has Been Banished Into Early 2024

No complaints here

Developer DON’T NOD has announced that its action-adventure game Banishers: Ghost of New Eden has been delayed and will now release on February 13, 2024.

Originally set to release at the beginning of November, an absolutely stacked time of year, developer DON’T NOD and publisher Focus Entertainment made the decision to move the launch in order to give Banishers some breathing room. Taking to X (Twitter) with a brief statement, the two parties exclaim that “we want Red and Antea’s story to get the spotlight it deserves,” leading to the new launch date being set in stone.

We recently got a chance to preview Banishers, and we came away from our time with the game wanting to play more. “I’m fascinated by the world of New Eden and the characters in it, and I love the use of romance and dual characters as the foundation for the game’s premise. I can’t wait to explore and uncover more when the game launches.”

Are you looking forward to Banishers? Are you glad that there’s one less massive release in November? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
