For those that may have missed the original boat regarding Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, you at least have another port for the opportunity with the title finally being unshackled from the bundle of Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which touted a princely sum of $124.95.
Instead, you can now drop $94.95 to own Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered all on it’s lonesome – or, if you already own the original Marvel’s Spider-Man (via purchase, not via any PS Plus offer) you can instead upgrade your version to the remastered one.
For $25AUD.
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is now available to purchase on PS5!
You can purchase it individually on the PlayStation Store starting today, or you can upgrade your copy of #SpiderManPS4 for $10. ⬆️https://t.co/TFYn1LC9Lk pic.twitter.com/w54ent4grR

In the marketing above, Sony and Insomniac brass did make mention of a delightful upgrade cost of $10USD – which would be around $14 and change with the current exchange market – so $15AUD didn’t seem out of the question.
Instead, it’s $25AUD for any Australian arachnid enthusiasts that have fallen behind the current ‘high def spider-men’ market. A bit of a yowza, and it absolutely shifted my intentions from a must-have purchase to more of a chin stroker.
Do you feel this is a little steep for an upgrade cost? Is it more creative pricing in the Australian gaming space? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
