After announcing it during the September State of Play, Team Asobi has revealed more details about Astro Bot’s free post-launch DLC in the form of new “speedrun” levels and new bots to rescue.

As detailed in a post on the PlayStation Blog from Studio Director, Nicolas Doucet, five new levels are coming to the game and will be rolled out in free weekly updates starting with the first launching as soon as tomorrow. Each of these new levels is designed around challenging players’ platforming skills and features an online leaderboard so friends can compete against one another, and each added level will also feature two brand-new Special Bots to rescue.

The first of these, which drops tomorrow October 18th at 12AM AEDT (midnight tonight October 17th, in other words), is titled “Building Speed” and will see players equipped with the bulldozing bulldog, Barkster, and punching their way through a city in the clouds. Presumably, it’ll feature the only two new Special Bots that have been revealed so far, Eve from Stellar Blade and the Helldiver, but who knows?

And here’s a look at the (AEDT) release times for each new level update:

We gave Astro Bot a huge 9/10 when it launched early last month, with Adam writing in his review, “Astro Bot is a wonderfully entertaining and diverse platformer that throws new ideas at you at an incredible rate, topped with stunning visuals and an injection of PlayStation nostalgia.”
