Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive have announced that the horror game Alone in the Dark has been delayed and will now release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on January 16.
Taking to X (Twitter) with a brief statement, the upcoming reboot of the cult classic horror title has been moved out of a very busy October to give it some room to breathe. According to this statement, “Horror games thrive on the eerie embrace of solitude, something that is impossible to achieve in a gaming month as busy as October.”
With huge titles seemingly dropping every second day in the spookiest month of the year, this shift into early 2023 is a wise one.
