AEW: Fight Forever Has Finally Been Given A June Release Date

A few days after Forbidden Door II

After an eternity of waiting, AEW Games has announced that AEW: Fight Forever will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC on June 29.

The announcement was made via a short, minute-long trailer, where Kenny (by god) Omega dropped the long-awaited news. A few snippets of gameplay were scattered throughout the trailer, but here’s hoping we get a more substantial look at the game in the month between now and release.

The wrestling company’s first video game is being developed by Yuke’s, the team that previously worked on WWE’s SmackDown vs. Raw and 2K titles. Rather than emulating the great sport of professional wrestling, Fight Forever will be an easy-to-play-hard-to-master arcade experience, similar to beloved games like WWF No Mercy.
