Asylum, the first-person horror point-and-click game from Senscape finally has a release date after more than 10 years in development, with the studio announcing it will launch on Steam on March 7, 2025 (March 6 global).
Asylum is the spiritual successor to the popular game Scratches and is billed as an “epic supernatural horror adventure inspired by H. P. Lovecraft, Hammer Films and twisted Euro Horror from the 80s.”
It’s set at the decaying Hanwell Mental Institute, where players will meet strange characters, solve compelling puzzles and unravel a mind-bending mystery that will leave you shocked.
The project had a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2013, beating its goal of $100,666 with $119,426 in funding raised, making it one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns in Argentina. We’ve had our Asylum for a while, so we’re stoked that it finally has a release date.
