Publisher Big Fan Games has announced TRON: Catalyst, an action-adventure title coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC in 2025.
Developed by Bithell Games, known for Thomas Was Alone and John Wick Hex, and in collaboration with Disney Games, Catalyst is an isometric action-adventure game set within the world of TRON. Playing as a program named Exo, players will explore the digital world and use their Identity Disc in melee combat. Naturally, players will also be able to jump on a Light Cycle to speed through the environment and destroy enemies with their trails.
The game’s story follows on from TRON: Identity, the studio’s first foray into the Disney-owned universe, with Exo forced to work around multiple factions as they search for the secrets of the Arq grid.

Real talk: I’ve never been a huge TRON fan, but the gameplay shown in the announcement trailer shows promise, so I might have to check this one out. Catalyst is the first game published by Big Fan Games, the subsidiary of Devolver Digital, which will focus on titles based on existing properties.
