Atomfall Is A Single-Player Survival Game From The Team Behind The Sniper Elite Series

Developer Rebellion has revealed Atomfall, a survival-action game coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025.

Revealed during this morning’s Xbox Games Showcase, Atomfall is the next game from the Sniper Elite devs, but don’t expect to be firing ball-exploding bullets at clueless Nazis this time. Set in 1957 in the idyllic British countryside that’s been… affected by nuclear fallout, Atomfall is a single-player survival title that looks to mix first-person gunplay and melee combat with exploration and storytelling.

While the reveal trailer is short, clocking in at one and a half minutes, we do get a decent look at what the irradiated landscape looks like, complete with phone boxes and pubs that would be perfect for a pint, where it not for the murderous machines, screeching ghouls and cults with a penchant for crucifixion. Despite this being a short first look, Atomfall’s ingredients could make for a pretty interesting and fun experience.
